The
flatness of the Wolds is interrupted by the hill on which the tiny
hamlet of Brigham sits. It is a collection of houses, farms and
buildings.
The no through road off the B1249 rises with
dwellings on either side, peeks and falls again down to an old
wooden bridge with rusted white iron railings that crosses water
which eventually flows into the River Hull. At the side of the
water is a pretty country cottage with flowers and plants growing
up wooden trellis giving the feel of peace and tranquillity.
