The
area known as Eastburn is situated on an unclassified road which
runs between the A614 and the A166. It is made up of a collection
of houses situated on both sides of the narrow country lane which
passes through.
There are a number of farms along the way
one of which is one of the J.S.R.Farms
Pig Units.
Along the A163 is an establishment known today
as The Four Winds Court. It is a popular restaurant and bar
serving meals and drinks opening daily. Its restaurant is known as
Fisher’s Restaurant and has other function rooms for hire,
now a popular venue for dinner dances and weddings.This has also
been known as Eastburn Lodge and for many years was known as The
Four Winds.
