A no through road sign off the B1249 indicates the single track road to Emmotland. The road is scattered with farms, houses and small holdings and eventually takes you to Langholme Hill Fishing Ponds which are privately owned waters well stocked with a variety of fish, a heaven for the discerning fisherman.
