The area of Towthorpe is a single track, no through road off the B1248. The road is scattered with farms and associated buildings and from the top of Towthorpe Hill, (which is the climb from Fimber roundabout where the B1248 crosses the B1251). at this point the view across The Yorkshire Wolds is spectacular with the Village of Wetwang in the foreground and a back drop with views right across to Holderness and Saltend.
